Art Workshops – Learn to Paint your own Canadian Landscape Paintings with the help of Roger D. Arndt
Painting representational Canadian Landscapes in oil is a passion that has been with Roger D. Arndt from an early age. Becoming his life’s work as a professional fine artist, painting original Canadian landscape paintings in oils, in the style of the historic Flemish landscape painters.
There is no better feeling than sitting with your sketchbook on your lap, as you marvel at the Canadian landscape before you. Stunning scenery, beautiful mountains, lush forests, romantic gardens, and the ripple wake created by a canoe cutting through the crystal clear turquoise waters of a glacier fed lake. The stimulation of learning something new, in a different landscape, can bring out the best in anyone. A painting workshop with Roger D. Arndt is a very special experience that can be enjoyed in the moment, and for years to come.
Arndt leads studio based weekly painting workshops every year from November through June. He also hosts various meeting room sessions and painting retreats throughout the year.
WHO ARE THESE WORKSHOPS FOR?
These workshops are for everyone. Whether you have never painted, are an enthusiast, a hobbyist, a novice painter, or even a more experienced painter; Arndt likes to work with all skill levels and mixed classes. A Roger D. Arndt landscape painting workshop is a collaborative experience where you can learn, share, inspire, and be inspired by those learning around you and with you. The setting is comfortable and casual, you are here to have fun and we hope that you enjoy learning a new skill that you can take with you.
PAINTING INSTRUCTION AND RETREAT GROUP RATES:
For private groups, out of town art groups, and organizations: workshops are weekends, beginning with a Friday seminar and demonstration of Arndt’s painting process and technique. Saturday and Sunday are for hands on learning as you create your original landscape painting under the watchful eye of a master.
Weekend painting workshop group rate (minimum ten students)
$395.00* – includes some supplies and instruction
*travel costs, lodging, etc. are not included.
For out of town: a coordinator is usually involved where travel costs and teaching fees are built in to a special retreat package price
PRIVATE TUTOR:
Roger D. Arndt master oil painter is available for one on one, individualized tutoring sessions on how to paint landscapes in oils using his technique.
Rate: $75/hr, 1 hour minimum
